The U.S. said Monday it would tell apart a sovereign Southern Sudan and evaluation its description of Sudan's government in Khartoum as a state pay for of violence after that African nation customary the souths choose to separate.
Appointment administrators said Monday that more than 98 percent of ballots in the Jan. 9 vote were in favor of self-government, sense Southern Sudan will become the world's newest nation in July.
"I pat on the back the people of Southern Sudan for a victorious and inspiring referendum in which an overwhelming majority of voters chose self-government," President Barack Obama said in a report. "I am therefore satisfied to proclaim the meaning of the United States to formally be familiar with Southern Sudan as a monarch, self-governing state in July 2011."
