Insurgents attack NATO base in eastern Afghanistan
A group of would-be suicide bombers tried to tempest a main NATO base in eastern Afghanistan early Saturday but were repel previous to they could enter, officials said.

A bomb concealed in a motorbike also explode on a busy street in the Imam Sahib district of the northern region of Kunduz, killing 10 people, counting a police leader and three children, according to the Interior Ministry.

Unconnectedly, NATO reported that insurgent killed three coalition service members Saturday in an attack in southern Afghanistan. The alliance did not give any further details or the nationalities of the repair members killed.
